Day 1:
We will pick you up
from the airport or your hotel in Luang Prabang town. A 30 minute drive will bring you to the Lao Spirit resort, located in a jungle area on the banks of Nam Khan River. In the afternoon, you will have time to relax from your trip, enjoy the
natural beauty and peaceful landscape or have a short walk. In the evening you can enjoy a delicious dinner on the terrace of the Lao Spirit Restaurant.
Stay overnight in a Lao Spirit Bungalow.

Day 2:
You will be joining the Trail of Falls, a walk along the "Huay Sae" - a natural stream from the mountain, feeding the famous Tad Sae waterfall. Along the stream grows natural, primary vegetation. Natural wonders and elephant experience are what you will see today.
The activity will start at 09:15 from the resort with a short walk to the neighbouring Elephant Village where you will be introduced to their Asian Elephants and depart for a scenic ride. Enjoy the new perspective and the wonderful nature on the back of an elephant. A stunning landscape, quietness, and the lush nature give you a relaxed ride on the elephant's back to the jungle camp. This retreat jungle camp is located on an entrance of a valley where the stream flowing down from the mountain. Here you will hang out for a lunch and observe the elephant and the jungle surrounding. Then follow the stream to the amazing Tad Sae Waterfall through primary vegetation. Lingering a while at the waterfall, have or swim in the refreshing cool cascades. (from February to June the, waterfall is dry). Our boat will pick you up for a ride down the Nam Khan river to the Lao Spirit Resort.
Day 3:
Today you will have a great experience with trekking to two hilltribe villages and kayak on the Nam Khan River. At 09:30 or earlier, you will cross the Nam Khan by boat to begin the walk which will lead you to a Khmu village - Hue Fei - where you get an insight of Khmu s daily life and culture. Most of them are farmers and fishermen. The countryside waits for you with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. Continue the trek and sharing the trail with passing villagers on their way’s to market or fields. Careful not to disrupt the serenity of this isolated inhabitants of the small settlements from the Hmong hilltribes, we can observe the locals as they carry out their daily tasks, taking note that foreigners still remain a novelty here. You get the chance to ask questions and wander around in the small settlements. Follow a smal stream until you reach the village Ban Souan on the banks of Nam Khan river. Welcomed by the shy yet curious kids, you rove around this village where Hmong, Khmu and Lao Loum live together. In the afternoon you will have a water excursion on the Nam Khan with a kayak. The river is easy to paddle and the countryside along the river is dense with banana and teak trees; rice paddies, pineapple plantation terraces and vegetable gardens. Pass by the Tad Sae waterfall, some isolated Lao Loum's and Lao Theung's thatched roof settlements, fishermen and children taking bath in the river. Finally, you will arrivewith the kayaks in front of the Lao Spirit Resort. Enjoy a relaxing time on the terrace before you taste the unique flavours of our dishes and wines in the restaurant.
Day 4:
After breakfast, a private transfer will bring you back to the city of Luang Prabang, either to your hotel or the airport.
